Kochi: Kerala Blasters secured their first victory in the 11th season of the ISL by defeating East Bengal. The match ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of the Blasters. Goals for Kerala were scored by Noh Sa-doo (63) and Kwame Peprah (88).
The lone goal for East Bengal was scored by Malayali player Vishnu P. V. (59). With this win, Kerala Blasters climbed to sixth place in the points table.
The Blasters took to the field in front of thousands of fans at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi following their defeat in the opening match.
