Minu Muneer Accuses Balachandra Menon of Misconduct: Claims Forced to Watch Obscene Video

Date:

Kochi: Actress Minu Muneer has leveled allegations against actor and director Balachandra Menon, claiming that he forced her to watch an obscene video in 2007. Previously, Minu had also accused seven individuals, including Jayasurya, of sexual misconduct. She made these revelations in an interview with India Today.

Minu alleged that Balachandra Menon compelled her to watch group sex in his room in 2007. She clarified that an investigation is underway regarding her complaints against several actors, including Jayasurya and MLA Mukesh. “I am very satisfied with the investigation. Arresting such an influential MLA is not a simple matter. When the Chief Minister said that cases would be registered if complaints were received, it was a revelation,” she stated.

“I had many dreams, but the film industry has turned into a nightmare for me. This (the Hema Committee report) will purify not only the film industry but also our society,” she added. Alongside her allegations, a POCSO case has also been filed against Minu based on a relative’s complaint. In response to this situation, Minu remarked, “I told her I would help her get offers in films, but I couldn’t do that. This is retaliation for that. How can I help her when I know how the industry works? My opponents are behind this. I will handle this legally as well.”

Minu revealed that after filing her complaint, she received multiple calls from individuals proposing a settlement, including offers of money. “Now, I don’t take calls from unknown numbers,” Minu stated.
