New Delhi: Bollywood actor and BJP MP-elect Kangana Ranaut, who recently won the Mandi Lok Sabha seat, was allegedly slapped by a woman constable of CISF after frisking at the security hold area of the Mohali International Airport in Haryana
The official was suspended after the incident..During questioning, the constable claimed that Kangana passed wrong comments against the women of Punjab during the farmers’ agitation.Kangana has stated that she will file a complaint with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Meanwhile, Airport authorities said that they have not received any complaint yet and the matter was being probed by the CISF as of now.
Reacting to the incident, former Himachal CM Jairam Thakur said, “It is very unfortunate. Nobody has the right to harm anyone. Kangna Ranaut was heading towards Delhi to attend a party meeting. In fact, I am also heading to International Airport Chandigarh to take a flight for Delhi in the evening to attend the party meeting in the national capital.”
