BJP chief Jagat Prakash Nadda is expected to be sworn in as a minister in the Narendra Modi government on Sunday. He is likely to take the oath of office along with the Prime Minister-elect and the latter’s council of ministers.
Gujarat MP CR Patil is also set to take the oath today at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. JD(S) leader and former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has been mentioned in the tentative list of leaders scheduled to take the oath.
Former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Telangana leaders Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Kishan Kumar Reddy, and BJP leader from Punjab Ravneet Bittu are likely to be sworn in today as well.
Additionally, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat from Rajasthan, JDU leaders Lalan Singh and Ramnath Thakur, and Giriraj Singh and Nityanand Rai are expected to become ministers today.
HAM chief Jitan Ram Manjhi, LJP leader Chirag Paswan, Jitin Prasada, and Laxmi Kant Bajpai will also take the oath today.
Kiren Rijiju will be inducted into the Cabinet as well.
