“Planned Conspiracy Behind the Controversy”: E.P.Jayarajan

Date:

Palakkad: Senior CPM leader E.P. Jayarajan has reiterated his position on the autobiography controversy, stating that there was a planned conspiracy behind the controversy that arose on election day. He clarified that he had not given his autobiography for publication to DC Books.

Speaking to the media during the campaign of LDF candidate P. Sarin in Palakkad, Jayarajan stated: “The autobiography that came out is not mine. I did not write the one that was published. I have not completed writing my autobiography yet. I have not entered into any agreement with DC Books. I have not entrusted DC Books with the publication of my autobiography. I am writing my autobiography myself. My handwriting is bad, and I have assigned someone to refine the language before it gets published. It will be published soon. I have no doubts about the person I’ve assigned to work on the language.”

Jayarajan also asserted that the controversy surrounding the election day incident was part of a planned conspiracy. “Something went wrong. None of the media reports came from me. I do not take the controversy lightly. There has been a clear conspiracy behind it. The controversy on polling day was orchestrated. Legal action will be taken in this regard,” he said.

He added that legal action had already been initiated against DC Books. Jayarajan emphasized that he was not responsible for the Facebook tag that had appeared under the name of his autobiography.

“About a year and a half ago, just before the Lok Sabha elections, the issue was raised in a way that suggested it had been revealed. That, too, was a conspiracy,” Jayarajan commented on the ongoing controversy. He further stated, “Why should I be responsible for anything that appears on Facebook or Instagram? DC Books should answer for it. That’s why I have issued a legal notice. The person I entrusted with refining the language is a trustworthy individual.”

Meanwhile, Ravi, from DC Books, stated that he had no further comments on the matter. He added that his earlier stance on the autobiography controversy had already been made clear, and he respects those in public life.
