Kochi: Actor Bala has been arrested following a complaint filed by his ex-wife. The arrest was made by the Kadavanthra police in Ernakulam. The complaint alleges that he defamed her on social media and spread lies about her. Bala was taken into custody from his home in Palarivattom early Monday morning, after which the arrest was recorded. He has been charged under various sections, including a non-bailable offense under the Juvenile Justice Act. Bala’s manager has also been arrested in connection with the case.
