Actress Charmila Reveals Misconduct by 28 Individuals in Malayalam Film Industry

Thiruvananthapuram: Actress Charmila has revealed that she was mistreated by 28 people in the Malayalam film industry. The misconduct occurred while she was working on the film “Arjunan Pillaiyum Anchu Makkalum.” Charmila alleged that producer M.P. Mohanan and his associates attempted to sexually assault her.

However, Charmila did not disclose additional names involved. She described experiencing harassment, including being knocked on her door at night. She also mentioned threats of being removed from the film if she did not comply with certain demands. The actress shared these details in an interview with Asianet News.

Charmila further revealed that director Hariharan asked her friend Actor Vishnu if she was willing to make adjustments. When she refused, Hariharan removed her from the film “Parinayam” and also removed Vishnu from the project.
