Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth Tie the Knot in Traditional South Indian Ceremony

Date:

Chennai: Actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth have tied the knot. The couple shared their wedding photos on Instagram. The wedding, which followed a South Indian style, was held in the presence of family members and close friends at a temple. Aditi shared the photos with the caption: “You are my sun, my moon, my stars. Mrs. and Mr. Adu-Siddhu.” Siddharth and Aditi Rao have been in a long-term relationship.

Aditi arrived in a gold-colored tissue organza lehenga, paired with an embroidered golden blouse. She chose a minimal makeup look with a touch of jasmine flowers. Siddharth wore a simple kurta and mundu. The couple had been dating for several years before their engagement earlier this year. They surprised their fans with a serene wedding ceremony on September 16.

According to South Indian traditions, the wedding ceremony took place at dawn. Celebrity photographer Joseph Radhik captured images where the sun was rising in the background. In a previous interview with Vogue, Aditi spoke about the moment Siddharth proposed and how dreamlike it all felt. She revealed that Siddharth took her to the place where he had grown up with his grandmother (his mother’s mother) after realizing how close they were.

Rumors of their romance began circulating after they starred together in the Telugu film Maha Samudram in 2021. The couple has also been seen together at various film events and ceremonies. Siddharth’s most recent film is Chithha. Aditi’s first marriage was to Satyadeep Misra.
