International Acclaim for Malayalam Film ‘Bhramayugam’

Kochi: The Malayalam film “Bhramayugam” has achieved international recognition. It secured the second position in Letterboxd’s list of the top 10 horror films of 2024, as compiled from films released this year. The Hollywood film “The Substance” took the top spot. Other films in the list include the Japanese film “Chime,” the Thai film “Dead Talents Society,” and American films such as “Your Monster,” “Alien,” “Strange Darling,” “I Saw the TV Glow,” as well as the Danish film “The Girl with the Needle,” and the Korean film “Exhum.”

Directed by Rahul Sadashiv, the film features Mammootty in a prominent role. “Bhramayugam” was selected by Letterboxd from films released in various languages, and it is the only film from India to be included in the list.
