The investigation team will submit a report to the court today. The family had filed a complaint with the police, demanding an investigation into Naveen Babu’s death. Last Tuesday, the ADM was found dead in his quarters in Pallikkunnu. He was discovered dead just as he was about to relocate from Kannur to Pathanamthitta. On Monday, a farewell was held for the ADM under the chairmanship of the district collector at the collectorate. During the meeting, P. P. Divya, the president of the Kannur District Panchayat, criticized the ADM.

Following the criticism from the District Panchayat president, the ADM was found dead on Tuesday. He had told his family he would return home on Monday night. In line with this, Naveen Babu’s wife arrived at the Chengannur railway station on Tuesday morning to take him home. However, when relatives did not see Naveen Babu on the early morning train, they alerted others, and it was during a check at the quarters that the ADM was found dead. Naveen Babu, who was previously an ADM in Kasaragod, had arrived in Kannur during the Lok Sabha election period.
