P.V. Anwar Criticizes Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Over Home Department Failures

Date:

Malappuram: P.V. Anwar MLA stated that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is unfit to handle the Home Department for even a moment. He remarked that the Chief Minister has failed in that regard. Anwar expressed that he still holds respect for the Chief Minister but will not agree to be taken for a fool. He clarified that he was not instructed to investigate the letter from the Governor but rather to look into the raised issue of phone tapping. “Does he think I would back down if the Chief Minister threatens me? No one should assume that we are all the same. I did not come from a family that is afraid. I belong to a family that has contributed to the freedom of this country.

I come from a family that has had relatives and a father who spent years in jail. That blood runs in my veins. There is no need to show fear to someone like me. P.V. Anwar will only bow before the poor, his party, and God. No one should come here to intimidate me. There will be no compromise on that,” Anwar said.

Anwar sharply criticized the Chief Minister regarding gold smuggling occurring in the state. “Gold has been coming through the airport for years, and the police seize it. Haven’t you seen how they do it? Is this some kind of a joke? The Chief Minister has no qualifications to handle the Home Department for even a moment. He has failed in that regard. If you look closely from the Chief Minister’s office, you’ll see that Shivshankar and Swapna are living in a flat very close by. How did the Chief Minister not know about this? Don’t we have intelligence and vigilance systems in Kerala?” P.V. Anwar questioned.
