New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Sunday that the Khadi Gramodyog’s business has surpassed Rs 1.5 lakh crore for the first time, marking a significant milestone. In his Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast, Modi emphasized that the rise in Khadi and handloom sales is generating numerous new job opportunities, particularly benefiting women involved in the industry.

Modi emphasized that the rising popularity of Khadi and handloom products is creating substantial employment opportunities, particularly benefiting women who are predominantly involved in this industry. He encouraged citizens to embrace Khadi by purchasing these products, underscoring their cultural and economic importance.
Support for Indian Athletes
With the Paris Olympics underway, Modi took the opportunity to rally national support for Indian athletes.
