New Delhi: Four soldiers, including Colonel Manpreet Singh, who was martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, will be awarded the Kirti Chakra. Rifleman Ravikumar, Major Mall Ram Gopal Naidu, and Jammu and Kashmir Police Deputy Superintendent Humayun Musamil Bhatt will also receive the Kirti Chakra.
Colonel Manpreet Singh and Humayun Bhatt were martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, in September 2023.
