Heavy rain alert for Maharashtra, Gujarat today, showers expected in Delhi

New Delhi : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a red alert warning of heavy to extreme downpour in parts of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa on Saturday.Delhi, , may get light, isolated rainfall for the next three days.

Central India, stretching from Gujarat to Odisha, along with the southern peninsular region, is bracing for intense rainfall expected to last until Sunday. However, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, lashed by heavy rain over the past week, may see a dry weekend.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipated heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in parts of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa on Saturday and issued a red alert.
