New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted on Saturday that the creation of eight crore new jobs in the past three to four years has dispelled false narratives about unemployment.
Dwelling upon the Report of the Reserve Bank of India on the employment figure, the Prime Minister asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government marches ahead to prioritize stability and growth proudly inviting small and big investors, utilize the NDA’s third term with enthusiasm.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the launch of infrastructure projects worth Rs 29,000 crore in road, railway, and port sectors, underscored the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government’s commitment to stability and growth. He criticized opposition parties for spreading misinformation about job creation, labeling them as obstacles to progress.
“The substantial increase in employment has debunked false narratives propagated during the recent Lok Sabha elections,” PM Modi asserted, indirectly targeting detractors who politicized unemployment issues.
“Those who engage in spreading false information are against investment, infrastructure development, and the country’s growth. Their policies betray the youth and hinder employment opportunities,” the PM added, emphasizing his government’s focus on skill development and employment.
Highlighting Maharashtra’s pivotal role in Viksit Bharat (Developed India), PM Modi praised the state’s historical significance and its potential in the industry, agriculture, and finance sectors.
“My goal is to position Maharashtra as a global financial powerhouse and make Mumbai a leading fintech hub,” he affirmed.
PM Modi emphasized ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity around Mumbai, noting the expansion of the metro rail network and the development of new infrastructure projects aimed at improving living standards.
“The completion of the Coastal Road and Atal Setu, India’s longest sea bridge connecting Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, exemplifies our commitment to balanced development,” PM Modi remarked.
He also highlighted transformative initiatives in Maharashtra’s railways, including the redevelopment of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Ajni-Nagpur railway stations.
“The approval of the Rs 76,000 crore Vadhavan port in Dahanu, Palghar, which is expected to generate 10 lakh jobs, underscores our commitment to comprehensive economic development,” PM Modi concluded.
