Mallikarjun Kharge Suffers Health Issues During Rally in J&K, Vows to Continue His Fight Against Modi

Jammu: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge experienced health issues while speaking at a public rally in Jammu and Kashmir. The incident occurred during an event in Kathua district on Sunday, where Congress workers had to support him to his seat. After a brief pause, he resumed his speech, stating that he would remain alive until Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ousted from power. According to reports from Congress sources cited by PTI, Kharge’s health condition is satisfactory, and doctors are providing the necessary care.

Kharge had arrived in Jasrota to seek support for Congress candidates in the upcoming assembly elections. He is also scheduled to speak at another public rally in Ramnagar, Udhampur district. Ravinder Sharma, Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir Congress, mentioned that it would be decided based on doctors’ advice whether Kharge will attend other scheduled events.

During the event, Kharge paid tribute to the head constable who lost his life in an encounter with militants. In the incident, two other police officers were injured, and one militant was killed.
