Thrissur: Due to the heavy rains continuing, a holiday has been announced for educational institutions, including professional colleges, in six districts on Tuesday. This applies to educational institutions in Wayanad, Thrissur, Palakkad, Ernakulam, Idukki, and Malappuram districts. However, this holiday does not apply to residential schools. Examinations that were scheduled in advance will continue as planned, according to the district collectors. In Kozhikode, schools and Anganwadi have been granted a holiday by the district collector, but colleges will remain open
