Home Secretary Rejects ADGP Report on Thrissur Pooram Disturbances; Calls for Further Inquiry

Thiruvananthapuram: The report by ADGP M.R. Ajith Kumar, who investigated the decorations of Thrissur Pooram, has been rejected by the Home Secretary. The report stated that there was no external interference behind the disturbances at the Pooram. The Home Secretary has suggested conducting another investigation.

Additionally, the Home Secretary recommended an inquiry against the ADGP as well. It has been suggested that a DG-level inquiry be conducted against the ADGP. The Chief Minister will decide whether to accept or reject the Home Secretary’s recommendation.
