Justice Devan Ramachandran Appreciates Fire and Rescue Service Personnel

Date:

Kochi: Justice Devan Ramachandran, a judge of the Kerala High Court, appreciated the Kerala Fire and Rescue Services personnel on Sunday for their selfless efforts to locate a sanitation worker who went missing in the waste-filled Amayizhanjan Canal in Thiruvananthapuram.

Justice Ramachandran commended the team’s dedication in the face of adversity. The judge wrote to the director general of Fire and Rescue Services, stating, “Their selflessness in the face of great adversity, desperate to save a fellow human, is incapable of being fully expressed in words.
With bare protection and disregarding consequences, we see them wading and diving in the rancid and putrid waters. They are true heroes and the hope of the hapless mother, waiting for her son to return.” However, Justice Ramachandran pointed out that media visuals show the officers’ heads uncovered and asked to ensure that they were all given necessary protection.
