Special Consideration for Children and Elderly Devotees at Sabarimala

Date:

Sabarimala: At Sabarimala, special consideration will be given to children visiting the temple for darshan. A separate queue has been allocated for them at the main entrance. Elderly devotees, those with disabilities, and devotees traveling with children will also receive special attention. Furthermore, when reaching the 18th step, these groups are allowed direct darshan instead of taking the flyover route. There are instances where elderly individuals can join children in the direct darshan line. Police officials have noted that some devotees are hesitant to take advantage of these facilities out of concern that their group might get separated or lost.

Additionally, police provide special attention to children, the elderly, and people with disabilities when they reach the 18th step. Many devotees, including children, arrive at the temple in groups, including those with special needs.
