Mumbai: Anil Mehta, the father of actress Malaika Arora, has died after falling from a building. The incident occurred on the sixth floor of a residential building in Bandra, Mumbai. The police’s preliminary conclusion is that the death was a suicide. An investigation into the incident is underway. The incident occurred around 10:30 AM on Wednesday. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Anil Mehta, 62, was originally from Punjab. There are unconfirmed reports that he had been suffering from depression for some time. His wife is Joyce Polycarp, a Malayali, and his children are actors Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora.
