New Delhi: Deepak Sharma, an Assistant Superintendent at Tihar Jail, has been transferred as part of disciplinary action. Officials have confirmed that the police superintendent has been directed to initiate an investigation against Sharma.
The police officer was seen dancing with a gun at a birthday celebration organized by a political leader in East Delhi. An 18-second video of the dance has gone viral on social media. Sharma danced to the song “Khal Nayak Hoon Main” from the Bollywood film “Khal Nayak.” Two other men were also seen dancing alongside him. Witnesses report that Sharma fired shots into the air twice during the party, but this has not been confirmed by the police.

He gained attention for his involvement in a high-profile case, including a raid at the residence of Sukesh Chandrashekhar, the main accused in a ₹200 crore fraud case.
