Kozhikode: LDF Convenor T.P. Ramakrishnan has stated that P.V. Anwar’s aggressive stance against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan aims to undermine the leadership. He emphasized that an MLA representing the Left Democratic Front should not adopt such positions.
Anwar has raised several allegations, which form the basis of a complaint made against the Chief Minister. An investigation into that complaint is currently underway, and a copy has also been provided to the CPI(M). Ramakrishnan noted that complaints come from both party members and outsiders, and the party has always responded fairly to such grievances.
He suggested that Anwar’s attacks are part of a broader strategy and that the enemies of the party, including the UDF and BJP, have previously launched extensive campaigns against the left front and the government, with media support.
The government maintains a position that considers the needs of the people. Ramakrishnan asserted that attempts to attack the Chief Minister in isolation will be recognized by the public. He dismissed claims that Anwar’s allegations would impact the Chief Minister’s credibility, questioning what representation Anwar has to speak on behalf of the party and stating that attempts to mislead the party will not be tolerated.
