Thrissur: Former Union Minister V. Muraleedharan has said that only three people can answer the question of why Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Ajith Kumar met an RSS leader. One of them is Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who should clarify why the ADGP was sent as an emissary. The second person is the ADGP himself, who should explain why he met the RSS leader. The third person is the RSS leader, who should explain why the ADGP met him, according to Muraleedharan.
Muraleedharan also questioned why the opposition leader began with a stance against the RSS. He mentioned that V.D. Sathesan, who lit a lamp in front of Guruji Golwalkar’s picture, was a participant in the 2013 Bharatiya Vichara Kendra event in Thrissur and is someone who teaches Hindu love to both the RSS and the BJP.
Reports are suggesting that ADGP Ajith Kumar met with the RSS leader to secure a position on the police chief’s list. Unconfirmed information suggests that the meeting in Thrissur was for personal reasons. It is alleged that Ajith Kumar was trying to avoid being excluded from the list of three candidates for the police chief position, which will be decided when the current police chief retires next July.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the ADGP’s meeting with RSS leaders will be investigated. The investigation report will be submitted to the government soon. Ajith Kumar’s explanation will be heard, and special branch reports will be reviewed. The reasons for the ADGP’s meetings with Ram Madhav in Thiruvananthapuram and Dattatreya Hosabale in Thrissur will also be examined to determine if there were any violations of service rules.
