Dr. P. Sarin Expelled from Congress; Set to Contest as LDF Candidate in Palakkad

Date:

Thiruvananthapuram: Dr. P. Sarin has been expelled from the Congress party. KPCC president K. Sudhakaran MP announced in a press release that Sarin was removed from the primary membership of the Congress party for serious organizational misconduct and disciplinary violations. Meanwhile, Sarin stated that he would work alongside the left in the upcoming Palakkad assembly elections. He also mentioned that he would contest if the CPI(M) asked him to. Sari raised strong allegations against opposition leader V. D. Satheesan, claiming that the manipulation by Satheesan during the Lok Sabha elections led to the selection of Shaffi as the candidate, which is why a by-election in Palakkad was created that could favor the BJP.

Sarin insisted that everyone should know the backstory behind V. D. Satheesan’s rise to the opposition position, describing it as a manipulation. He noted that despite recognizing the irregularities, no one has investigated the matter. Sarin demanded that this story be exposed. A week ago, Rahul Mamkootathil dismissively spoke to him. Sarin referred to Rahul Mamkoottathil as a rising child of Satheeshan and criticized Rahul, calling him a figure of disgrace and lack of propriety. Sarin’s discontent with the Congress party stemmed from the candidate announcement for the Palakkad assembly elections. He turned against the party after Rahul Makoottathil was declared the Congress candidate. Sarin called for a revision of the candidate list, as his name was also on the potential candidate list for the Congress in Palakkad.
