High-Energy Election Campaign in Palakkad Concludes

Palakkad: The intense election campaign in Palakkad, which lasted for nearly a month, came to an end. All three fronts turned their enthusiasm into a show of strength. Thousands of workers participated in a procession that gathered around the stadium and bus stand area. The public campaign officially concluded at 6 PM.



Workers who arrived for the UDF’s road show

Workers brought their candidates to the meeting venue, adorned with parody songs, DJ music, colorful paper streamers, and balloons. Various art forms were performed along the routes taken by the procession. Special arrangements were made for traffic control with separate routes for each of the three fronts.

LDF’s Grand Finale in Palakkad

The UDF’s procession, full of energy, began at 2 PM from Olavakkode Junction. It passed through Peringome, Mercy College, Thirunellayi, KSRTC Bus Stand, and IMA Junction, eventually concluding at the Stadium Bus Stand.

From the BJP’s Road Show

The LDF’s procession started at 4 PM from the Government Victoria College area, passing through Head Post Office, Tharakkad, Sultanpet Junction, and finally concluded near the Stadium Bus Stand.

The NDA’s procession began at 2:30 PM from Melamuri and passed through Chunnamputhara, Jainimedu, Kalpapathi, Puthur, Valiyapadam, and Manali Bypass, also concluding near the Stadium Bus Stand.

The by-election in Palakkad was marked by controversies throughout, from the first day to the last, with intense debates and discussions defining the entire campaigning period.
