Wayanad: KPCC President K. Sudhakaran has sharply criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Political Secretary P. Sasi. He accused the Chief Minister of having authored comments regarding Malappuram himself, asserting that the Chief Minister’s explanation on the matter is completely irrelevant. Sudhakaran stated to the media in Wayanad that a PR agency would not issue such a statement to “The Hindu” without the Chief Minister’s approval.
He alleged that Pinarayi has had ties with the BJP since 1970 and was the first individual to become an MLA with the BJP’s support. He claimed that Pinarayi has had a good relationship with the BJP for years and has gained various personal and financial benefits because of that connection. Sudhakaran accused central agencies of protecting Pinarayi from numerous cases that could have led to imprisonment and labeled him as Narendra Modi’s agent, stating that the Chief Minister has adopted and articulated the BJP’s policies and viewpoints.
Sudhakaran further alleged that P. Sasi attempted to sexually assault girls in two houses in Kannur, which is why he was suspended from the party after a complaint was filed against him. He criticized the appointment of Sasi as Political Secretary, calling it a decision lacking sound judgment. He pointed out that complaints about Sasi’s misconduct had also been raised by P.V. Anwar. Sudhakaran claimed that the Chief Minister lacked political morality, with his only goal being to accumulate wealth in any way possible. He asserted that the Chief Minister prioritizes the safety of his own family over the welfare of the state and its people, stating that Kerala does not need a Chief Minister like this.
Sudhakaran added that the Chief Minister made the anti-Malappuram statement to appease the BJP, describing him as a “monkey raised in the shadow of the BJP.
