To the CPI(M) State Secretariat,
To the left democratic front workers in this land,
To the public,

You must have noticed the developments that have been occurring in recent days. As a public figure, I have been deeply troubled by these issues. However, this matter had to be addressed for the benefit of ordinary party members and the public. I have raised my voice against certain issues within the police department. I have no guilt regarding this matter; I will not step back.

The gravity of the situation is evident from the immediate actions taken by the government in response to the complaints I submitted. However, I still have disagreements regarding the accused remaining in their positions. I have made this clear multiple times. I approach this issue as a serious matter affecting our comrades and the public. I know that my actions have caused pain to my beloved party comrades. I had no other options available to me, and I apologize to each one of you.

The party state secretary, Comrade M.V. Govindan Master, informed me that if I provided a detailed written account of the issues, they would be examined. I have submitted a comprehensive complaint to him. He has also assured me that necessary investigations will be conducted “today.”

The party state secretariat that convened today has also clarified this matter.

I have raised serious issues ranging from a controversial police officer’s visit to the RSS to assisting communal YouTubers spreading division during Thrissur Pooram, as well as other grave issues like gold smuggling. I am confident that this party will take fair and necessary actions regarding these matters, irrespective of how they might be interpreted.

The left front is the greatest support for a large community that wishes to see secularism upheld in this land. CPI(M) is the movement leading this front. I have the utmost faith in this party. I am sure that the complaints I have made will be appropriately considered and that necessary actions will be taken against the troubling elements. All these matters have been brought to the party’s attention.

Let those who are watching me from outside the left front, including some media outlets, be disheartened. This party is different; the people are different. I have confidence that there will be a resolution to the complaints I have raised. Based on this confidence, as a humble left-democratic front worker, I am obliged to carry out the directives given by my party.

“I will temporarily cease public statements on this matter from this moment.” I have complete faith in my party.
I am assured that justice will be served.

The party is above all. Ordinary people are the foundation of this party.

Comrades, let us move forward.
