Kalpetta: Priyanka Gandhi stated that the people of Wayanad have included her as part of their family. She addressed various life issues faced by Wayanad residents, including the medical college, wildlife attacks, and the Adivasi housing scheme during her public meeting in Mananthavady. Rahul Gandhi also participated in the event. “Unemployment in the country is at the highest rate in history. You are raising your children with great difficulty, yet they cannot find jobs,” Priyanka said. She noted that her brother Rahul Gandhi had worked to bring a medical college to Wayanad, but only a board exists there, with the state government failing to take necessary actions.

On Sunday at noon, both arrived by helicopter at the Mary Matha College grounds in Mananthavady. After the meeting in Mananthavady, Rahul Gandhi attended at a public gathering in Malappuram, Arikkode.

Priyanka will participate in UDF public meetings in Sultan Bathery, Pulpally, Padichira, Muttil, and Vythiri tomorrow. Party leaders have informed that Priyanka will remain in the constituency until the 7th.

Meanwhile, LDF candidate Sathyan Mokeri is campaigning in the Nilambur constituency today, while NDA candidate Navya Haridas is conducting her campaign in the Kalpetta constituency.
