Kalpetta: Priyanka Gandhi, the UDF candidate for the Wayanad by-election, will arrive in Wayanad on Monday for campaigning. She will be in the constituency for two days as part of the election campaign. On Monday, she will address public meetings at Meenangadi in the Sultan Bathery Assembly constituency at noon and Panamaram in the Mananthavadi constituency at three PM.
On Tuesday, she will participate in meetings at various locations: Eingappuzha in Thiruvambadi constituency at 10 AM, Therattammal in Eranad constituency at two PM, Mambad in Vandoor constituency at three-thirty PM, and Chunkathara in Nilambur constituency at five PM, as informed by A.P. Anil Kumar, the UDF election committee convener.
In the past week, the UDF has completed all constituency and panchayat-level conventions. Senior Congress leaders and state chief ministers from across the country are campaigning for Priyanka in the constituency. Her main opponents are Satyan Mokery from CPI and Navya Haridas from BJP.
