Cognizant to Build 10 Lakh Sq Ft Campus in Hyderabad, Creating 15,000 Jobs

Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s IT sector is expanding with the new Cognizant campus at Kokapet. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu recently laid the foundation stone for this new facility. The campus will span 10 lakh square feet and aims to create 15,000 jobs, focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital engineering, and cloud solutions.

Cognizant, originally launched in Chennai in 1994, expanded to Hyderabad in 2002 and now operates five campuses in the city’s IT Corridor. With a workforce of 57,000, the company is a major player in the sector and has recently hired 7,500 freshers. The event was attended by Minister D. Sridhar Babu, MLA Prakash Goud, and other officials.
