Things had happened so swiftly, so ruthlessly that she, Arjun’s wife and his folk still verge upon the incredulous!
There is nothing else in the world more important to her than Arjun. Her love, passion, and desire!
Yet, there are inspiring lessons we can learn from the journey of Arjun’s rescue mission.
The rescue mission for Arjun who was swayed away along with many others in a fatal landslide at Shirur, Karnataka, on 16 July 2024, was
a complicated interplay between failure and success it was to teach us the art of compromise.
Moments of childish determination it has come to be.
Miserable weather cut short the rescue operations to bring it back ashore!
Lost all count of time, all sense of reality.
Still, Arjun lay asleep in the wilderness!
.
The mission turned out to be A ‘successful failure’ of the most sophisticated man-made machinery to deal with a natural calamity.
People especially, the Keralites are up there still watching mind to mind, spirit to spirit, and eyes in inquiry.
Learning more, we will still continue to become stronger and grow to be warriors challenging the harder situations but only in pace with reality.
Don’t be surprised, as there are more failures than successes in every sphere of life. The whole world goes through failures in order to reach success. Failures happen perhaps because of luck also and other times because of our own inability to work hard enough.
Failure indeed is painful because we human beings have been given the status of failure, which we ourselves are afraid of facing.
Don’t get dismantled! Be composed.
We will definitely reach our goals, whatever they may be!
Be persistent and never give up.
The results are not in our hands but our hard work is.
The experience that we gained through past failures will also help us in the future.
So relax! It all depends on our state of mind.
Believe every failure and pain we go through is a preparation for greater things about to happen.
Always make sure we learn something from our failures and forgive ourselves
Whatever is supposed to happen is going to happen.
Nothing can be changed. But how we react to these incidents can be well taken care of by us.
Why did we fail? What were the shortcomings? How can we improve upon those? How much time and effort do we need? Are we willing to put in effort again? Is this the way we had to deal with it?
Failure is our teacher, our friend. our trainer and ultimately failure brings home humility.
Arjun the youngster from childhood, must have harbored a dream of becoming successful the way he had wished to be. The idea of delving into the world of hard labor has always filled him with excitement and anticipation. The thought of navigating through happiness must have guided him. But destiny that came in disguise of all took him away
.Everything happens for a reason …may be a litmus test …but the most important thing is that we shouldn’t lose faith. We only fail when we give up! So never give up …in case of failure .. at least we won’t regret that we didn’t do our best. But don’t quit till the last moments as Arjun did.
When everything seems to fall down due to factors beyond our reach, it can be an incredibly profound and practical dimension to learning, It’s normal to feel frustrated, disappointed, or even devastated in such situations. While we are unable to change the external phenomena, we can at least control how we respond to them. Consider what steps we can take to address the immediate situation and mitigate the impact of the failure.
Resist the temptation to engage in self-blame or blame others or focus on what we could have done differently.
Remind ourselves that this setback, while significant in the moment, is not the end of the road. Shortcomings are a natural part of the journey and often pave the way for future growth and success if we approach them with resilience. Failure is not a reflection of our worth or capabilities. It is simply an inevitable part of life. With the right mindset and support, we can overcome this challenge and emerge stronger and more resilient than ever before
