E.P. Jayarajan Steps Down as LDF Convenor; T.P. Ramakrishnan Named Successor

Date:

Thiruvananthapuram: CPM State Secretary M.V. Govindan has announced that E.P. Jayarajan will be stepping down as the LDF Convenor. Govindan explained that the decision was made due to limitations in Jayarajan’s ability to focus on his duties. Issues related to statements made during the election phase were discussed, and these were considered in making the decision. Govindan clarified that the change in leadership is not an organizational move but a necessary adjustment. T.P. Ramakrishnan, a member of the Secretariat, will be the new convenor, Govindan added.

TP Ramakrishnan is a party leader from Kozhikode district and served as the Excise and Labour Minister in the first Pinarayi Government. He has been elected to the legislative assembly from the Perambra constituency three times and is a trusted member of the party. His leadership skills and gentle demeanor have made him well-regarded among the people.
