Khamenei declares ‘Victory from God,’ Israel warns of severe consequences

Tel Aviv: Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on Wednesday posted an illustration on his social media profile, X, depicting a large underground weapons cache after firing over 180 ballistic missiles at Israel. Khamenei captioned the post “Victory from God.” In another post, he stated that the strikes by the resistance front on the “worn-out and decaying body of the Zionist regime” would be even more impactful.

Reuven Azar, Israel’s Ambassador to India, stated that Israel is under attack from Iran. In a post on X, he said, “Israel will prevail. Iran’s fanatic genocidal theocrats have made a fatal mistake.”

Speaking about the large-scale attack, Israeli Defense Forces Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagar described it as a severe and dangerous escalation, adding, “There will be consequences. We will respond wherever, whenever, and however we choose, in accordance with the directives of the government of Israel.”
