Om Prakash Denies Drug Involvement, Claims Frame-up in Hotel Incident

Kochi: Gang leader Om Prakash, who was framed by Kerala Police in a drug related case stated that he had only gone to Hotel Crown Plaza to meet friends, and he emphasized that “Narcotic is a dirty business.” The police found that Om Prakash was leading a drug party that included film star Srinath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin. Om Prakash reacted to the incident.

Prayaga Martin

He asserted that he had no connection with drugs until now and added that he had come to Kochi to meet friends. Many friends came to his room, but he did not know many of them. He clarified that Srinath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin were part of that group.

He described his encounter with Bhasi as a pleasant one, saying he was a nice guy with whom he shook hands and hugged before parting ways. He later realized that the girl was film star, Prayaga Martin. Om Prakash commented that she didn’t have the beauty one would expect to see in films. He reiterated that he had no connection with drugs and claimed that he was being framed in the case. He mentioned that he had been on antibiotics for the past 15 days and was unable to use drugs. No evidence of a cigarette butt was found in his room; only an empty cover was discovered, which was not from his room.

Srinath Bhasi

He stated that only two cases were currently against him and that he visits the Commissioner’s office in Thiruvananthapuram every week to sign in. He is very careful moving forward but mentioned that he is currently unable to travel anywhere.
