Hyderabad: Telugu film stars Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s divorce has sparked controversy, leading Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya’s father and actor, to file a defamation case against Telangana Minister and Congress leader Konda Surekha. This legal action comes just hours after Surakha issued an apology for her comments.
Surakha, who serves as the Minister for Forests, Environment, and Endowments in Telangana, made remarks that Nagarjuna strongly criticized. The defamation case was filed at the Nampally Court under Section 356 of the BNS. Nagarjuna alleges that Surakha’s comments were intended to tarnish the reputation of the Akkineni family. A copy of the complaint has been shared on social media by both Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya.
